About Scott
Quincy Roots
I grew up in South-West Quincy as the youngest of eight children. My parents, Al and Carol, taught me the value of family and community. Today, my wife Julie, a Quincy Public Schools teacher, and I are proud to raise our daughters, Caroline and Olivia, in Houghs Neck.
A Neighbor Who Listens
I have never treated public service as a stepping stone.
On the City Council, I bring a steady, practical approach: listening first, respecting different perspectives, and finding common ground. My goal is simple: to make Quincy a city where every family feels welcome and supported.
Experience That Delivers
My background blends leadership in government, nonprofit work, small business, and community organizations. As a former business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges local entrepreneurs face and the importance of a strong economy for Quincy’s future. Throughout my career, I have gained the skills to manage budgets, strengthen services, and deliver results that matter for families and businesses alike.
